Australian Ambassador to Ireland visits Wexford

I had the privilege of hosting a visit by the Australian ambassador to Ireland, Richard Andrews.
In light of the difficult challenges posed by Brexit, it is vital that we do all we can to promote and drum up investment for Wexford.

Ambassador Andrews visited St Joseph’s national school in Bree where he received a fantastic welcome from students and staff.

We then travelled to Wexford for talks on trade with council officials before the turning of the sod on Town and Village renewal projects in Our Lady’s island.

I showed Ambassador Andrews the great work done by the team at Wheelocks farm before he appeared as guest of honour at the Enniscorthy strawberry fair.

Throughout the trip, Ambassador Andrews remarked on the hard work and community spirit being shown across the county.
