New Ross Community Hospital to receive €75,000 in Dormant Accounts Funding – Kehoe

Minister Paul Kehoe has today welcomed the announcement that €75,000 funding has been awarded to New Ross Community Hospital Company under the Dormant Accounts Funding Social Enterprise Scheme offered by the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.

The aim of this funding is to support social enterprises that provide services to, or employment opportunities for, disadvantaged people, particularly in rural areas.

Welcoming the announcement Minister Kehoe said; “I have been working with and on behalf of the New Ross Community Hospital over the last number of months and I am delighted that this funding has come through.  It will make a big difference to both the organization and the users of their excellent service.
