Minister Paul Kehoe has today extended a hand of welcome to Beckton Dickenson, the US Medical Equipment Supplier, as the news broke that the company had acquired CR Bard Inc.
“Beckton Dickenson Medical technology company has a long established track record of investment in Ireland employing over 600 people in their Irish sites in Dun Laoghaire, Drogheda and Limerick, with an expansion of 100 jobs announced in Limerick late last year.
“The Bard (Clearstream) facility in Enniscorthy has over 400 employees and is a massive asset to the town. There is a dedicated, talented and committed workforce based out in the facility.
“I am hopeful that this acquisition will lead to further investment down the line and I am looking forward working with Beckon Dickenson to cement the company’s relationship with Enniscorthy and Wexford over the coming months and years.
