Minster Paul Kehoe has welcomed the approval of funding for four new general classrooms for FCJ Secondary School, Bunclody under the Additional School Accommodation scheme offered by the Department of Education and Skills.
The purpose of the scheme is to ensure that essential classroom accommodation is available to cater for pupils enrolled each year and where the need cannot be met by the school’s existing accommodation.
FCJ Bunclody is the sixth Wexford school to be awarded Additional School Accommodation funding to date in 2015, with St. Joseph’s Primary School, Kilmuckridge; St. Colman’s NS, Ballindaggin; St. Fintan’s NS, Mayglass, Bridgetown; CBS, New Ross; St Leonards N.S, Ballycullane, New Ross also listed.
